Earthing for health! Kick off your shoes and restock your most depleted nutrient, anti-inflammatory electrons from the earth!
Research on elite athletes, diabetics, heart patients and arthritis patients confirms negatively charged electrons improve circulation, thin sticky blood and renew the rhythms of cortisol and other hormones. All Earth creatures evolved in contact with earth, rocks or water 100% of the time. We were grounded electrically into the biggest battery known to Man, even when wearing conductive materials such as leather or fur. The Earth provides a steady stream of negatively charged electrons from contact with dirt, grass, sand, sea, rocks or unsealed concrete (concrete is made from rocks and water). It’s a nutrient we have become disconnected from, but we evolved to be totally surrounded by it.
You can’t get these negatively charged electrons in a pill….
We generate Free Radicals anytime we are sick, overly emotional, over-trained, are in pain or are exposed to ANY toxin. Free radicals are positively charged, and rip apart healthy cells to steal their electrons. The only thing that stops them is an anti-oxidant providing a free electron. The ultimate anti-oxidant is free and from the Earth. Negatively charged electrons.
How Do I Do Earthing For Health?
If you can’t put bare feet on the ground or in natural water such as a lake or ocean, purchase an Earthing Mat or Earthing Sheet! I have a pad under my computer, where my arms can touch it, and I have a sheet in my bed so I am connected all night. The mat and sheet come with a corded plug that goes into the third (grounded) hole in any electrical plug. If preferred, the sheet also comes with a cord and a rod that can go out the window and stick directly into the dirt.
In this podcast we talk about conductive materials; using the mats for exercise recovery (like Tour de France athletes); pain management; chronic fatigue and much more. In my case, the mat has helped me sleep better, and surprisingly, it has helped me keep my emotional balance. When I get upset, I can contact my pad for a while (a 30 minute treatment, or all night) and I feel more balanced. Overall I am less anxious. Cool!
