The Perfect Human Diet Documentary: Interview w. CJ Hunt

Beverly Meyer

Beverly Interviews Guests, Diet For Human Beings

Perfect Human Diet Book and Interview on Primal Diet Modern HealthCJ Hunt had a near-death experience at the age of 24.  Sudden cardiac arrest while jogging led him to a decades-long quest for better (heart) health.  The result was The Perfect Human Diet documentary.

Rated on Amazon as #1 Documentary, and #1 Instant Video Documentary, this film has garnered several other best-selling tributes.

Want to go globe-trotting and look behind the scenes at some cool places?  Hunt and I speak about the global travels he filmed to interview noted researchers in Archaeology, Forensic Medicine, Nutrition, and Biochemistry.  His guests include Dr. Loren Cordain (author of The Paleo Diet), Robb Wolf (The Paleo Solution), Barry Sears (The Zone Diet) and the head of the Price-Pottenger Foundation. And many other interesting people.  In interesting places!

The film is excellent for those new to grain-free eating, and scientifically validates that humans are not grazers or herbivores, but carnivorous hunters.  Check out those mastadon bones!

The first 30 minutes overviews modern obesity and health, American diets, and the contradictory diet advice given us by the USDA and dozens of books.  He interviews several authors, looks at studies of Aborigines, and talks to some eager Vegetarians.

Starting at 30 minutes into the film, Dr. Cordain and Hunt walk and talk on a football field, graphically illustrating the history and diet of the human race from 2,000,000 years ago to the present (the last inch of the 100 yards field).

CJ HuntMy favorite parts began at 50 minutes in, and were in the archaeological field or science institutes, showing excavations, bones, and museum exhibits.  The interview at the Max Planck Institute in Germany shows brand new technology for determining EXACTLY what a creature ate, and we see here the conclusion: animals, and plants. Highly conclusive evidence!

At 1:07, Hunt and Dr, Lane Sebring go shopping in a local grocery store, commenting on food items as they go. It’s a nice way for people to connect with this information in real time.

Overall, this documentary is best for those starting with little current knowledge of the dangers of grains and low-fat diets.  It will make the issues clear and understandable to them.  A great gift to friends and family to make their own conclusions about what’s best to eat.  There’s no “preaching” or heavy warnings here, just sound scientific advice.
