Each Pure Encapsulations Black Currant Seed Oil has 535 mg of oil containing 70 mg. GLA.

Recommended dosage: 1-2 softgel capsules 2-3 times daily with food. Can be taken long-term.

Omega 6 fats are often deficient in those eating healthy, Paleo-style diets. GLA helps maintain normal cholesterol levels and is good for the skin/scalp. It helps dilate (relax) “smooth muscle” of blood vessels and the bronchi (may be helpful for asthma and COPD).
